The Inauguration

President Obama is so inspiring. I hope that people go easy on him considering the horrible mess he has stepped into.
Now on to the fashion. I thought his wife made a poor color choice and was kind of frumpy. Their daughters were adorable and I actually found myself wondering if I could find Sasha's outfit in my size. I'm such a geek.
I caught their first dance later and I have to say Michelle's evening dress was not much better. I didn't love it.

Now on to the Book Challenge.
I am on to my 7th book! It is titled Testimony and is written by Anita Shreve. I like it so far.
I also have 5 books waiting for me at the library! I think that I am well on my way to reading 100 books this year!

More Books

I read 2 more books for the challenge!

5. The Office of Desire by Martha Moody-- I found this book to be very very odd. It was a little difficult to follow but interesting.
6. Don't Tell Zoey by Katherine Applegate-- This is a YA series I started to read while in high school and never finished, so I am trying to finish it now! I enjoy these books they make me feel nostalgic.

94 books to go!

3. Life's A Beach by Claire Cook--I thought this book was terrible but I read it anyway.
4. You Don't Know Jack by Erin McCarthy--I enjoyed this book as well though it was a slight departure from the type of books I usually read.

I am currently working on book 5 The Office of Desire by Martha Moody, so far so good.

If You Could See Me Now

I just finished reading the book If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern. I really enjoyed it. It was a light read with a sweet message. In the book an Imaginary Friend changes the life of the main character. It also touches on being more open and tearing down the walls you may surround yourself with. I think it spoke to me because I tend to be a bit uptight and have a hard time letting my hair down and having a good time. I reccomend this to anyone who likes a good light read. If you like something deep do not read this!

I love reading so I thought I would give this challenge a shot. I also need to document what I have read because I have honestly checked out a book at the library, only to get home and realize I read it before! So here's to meeting the challenge of 100+ books in 2009!
